Telco SpA, the unlisted investment vehicle and key shareholder of Telecom Italia, has named Clemente Rebecchini as its new chairman.
In a short statement, Telco said former chairman Aldo Minucci resigned as a result of “new professional commitments” linked to his new role as chairman of ANIA.
Rebecchini begins his new role as Telecom Italia’s largest shareholder considers how best to refinance its €3.4bn of debt due to expire in October.
According to the Telecom Italia website, Telco SpA holds 22.39% in the company.
