Swedish mobile operator TeliaSonera has proposed electing Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, a former CEO of Finnish vendor Nokia, to its board of directors.
Kallasvuo left Nokia in 2010, when he was replaced by former Microsoft executive Stephen Elop to revive the company’s smartphone business.
TeliaSonera announced that it has proposed re-lections for its existing board, except Conny Carlsson, a member of its Audit Committee who declined to be re-elected.
The company’s next AGM will be held on 3 April 2012 in Stockholm.
