Tele2, the Swedish OMX listed telco, announced that its Austrian subsidiary has acquired Silver Server for SEK 110m (US$ 16.2m) in cash on a cash and debt free basis. Silver Server is a b2b internet service provider.
The transaction is subject to antitrust approval from the Austrian competition authorities.
Tele2 said that the acquisition will give Tele2 Austria a stronger presence in the B2B market, and reinforce its position.
In 2010, Silver Server had net sales of SEK 100m (US$ 14.7m) and EBITDA of SEK 20m (US$ 3m).
