US telco Verizon Communications has issued US$4.6bn in three-year, five-year, 10-year and 30-year notes.
The offering involved four groups of notes:

US telco Verizon Communications has issued US$4.6bn in three-year, five-year, 10-year and 30-year notes.
The offering involved four groups of notes:
- US$750m of notes maturing in 2014. Coupon 1.25%. Issue price 99.938.
- US$1.25bn of notes maturing in 2016. Coupon 2%. Issue price 99.373.
- US$1.85bn of notes maturing in 2021. Coupon 3.5%. Issue price 99.208.
- US$750m of notes maturing in 2041. Coupon 4.75%. Issue price 99.068.
The underwriters for the offering are Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and UBS.
Verizon said that the net proceeds of the offering would be used for the repayment of existing notes and commercial paper.
