Mobile operator Vodafone Qatar has announced that incoming CFO Steve Walters will take up his role from 7 November.
Walters, previously head of finance at Vodafone Essar, the group’s Indian mobile operator subsidiary, was appointed last July to replace John Tombleson, who is leaving to become CFO of Kenyan affiliate Safaricom.
“The board of Vodafone Qatar is extremely grateful to John for all his hard work and dedication to the company and we wish him every success in his new role in Kenya, said H.E Sheikh Abdulrahman Bin Saud Al Thani, chairman of Vodafone Qatar.
