Tunisian mobile operator Tunisiana announced it has bought 49% and the management control of ISP Tunet for an undisclosed sum.

Tunisiana says that the acquisition allows it to enter the fixed and mobile broadband sector.
Dhia Ben Letaifa, currently director of customer services, will become general manager of Tunet.
