Vodacom Tanzania has appointed Rene Meza, previously managing director of Bharti Airtel’s Kenya operations, as its new MD.
Meza was also previously CEO for Millicom’s operations in Tanzania.
He replaces Dietlof Mare, who has requested to change role after spending almost five years in Tanzania, a statement read. The company added that an announcement as to Mare’s new role would be made in due course.
