The CEOs of T-Mobile Austria and food retailer Spar have announced the imminent launch of a new MVNO at a press conference in Vienna this morning.
The MVNO is a co-operation between Spar and T-Mobile’s low cost brand tele.ring, and will be marketed under Spar’s low cost private label, called “S-Budget”. SIM cards will be sold in Spar outlets in Austria.
The companies did not comment on their financial expectations for the new venture.
