Prem Parameswaran has been appointed Americas head of media and telecoms investment banking at Deutsche Bank, Reuters reports quoting a person familiar with the matter.
He reportedly replaces Don Birchenough who left the bank in May to join Credit Suisse to co-head the TMT M&A team in New York.
According to the reports, Parameswaran joined Deutsche Bank in 2003 and has worked with AT&T, Paetic, RCN and Frontier.
In addition, Malcolm Morris has reportedly become vice chairman of Americas Media investment banking. He joined the bank in 1992 and has been in charge with the cable and tower sectors working with Time Warner Cable, Charter Communications and Global Tower Partners.
Deutsche Bank was not immediately available for comments.
