Slovak regulator TUSR has been approached by advisers of potential candidates for mobile frequencies, according to media reports.
Telecompaper reports that several possible new entrants are interested in frequencies in the 800 MHZ band, coming from the digital dividend, and in the 2600 MHz band.
Vietnam’s Viettel has reportedly paid a visit to TUSR earlier this month.
Frequencies are expected to be award by 2012.
The regulator did not reply to request for comments before press time.
