Korean telco SK Telecom will compete in the forthcoming auction for 4G frequencies in Brazil, according to media reports.
Local newspaper O Globo reported that the communications minister had said on Monday that SK Telecom would be participating in the auction.
SK Telecom did not reply to questions before the press deadline.
In June 2012, Brazil is planning to auction 2.5GHz of spectrum, which will be used for 4G services.
