The Russian telecoms regulator Roskomnadzor has awarded GSM frequencies in several regions of Siberia and the Ural, Telecompaper reports.
Regional mobile Yekaterinburg 2000, which trades under the Motiv brand in the Ural, has reportedly won frequencies in the Kurgan, Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets region.
In addition OSS Telecom has received frequencies in the Evenk and Komi-Perm region.
Finally, Vimpelcom was awarded frequencies in the Ust Orda Buryat region.
According to previous reports, the regulator planned to sell 32 licences in the Far-East, Ural, Siberia and Volga federal districts.
