Joseph Euteneuer has joined US telco Sprint Nextel as CFO. Euteneuer replaces Bob Brust, who is retiring.
Euteneuer previously worked as executive vice president and CFO at Qwest Communications. He agreed to join Sprint after the merger between Qwest and CenturyLink had been completed. This finally happened on 1 April.
Before working at Qwest, Euteneuer was executive vice president and CFO at the satellite radio provider XM Satellite Radio Holdings. He had also worked at Comcast and its subsidiary, Broadnet Europe, before his stint at XM.
