France Telecom and Vivendi’s Canal + have announced the details of a TV joint venture that will see FT hold a 66.6% majority stake. The setup for the JV, called Orange Cinema Series, differs from the original plan, announced in January, to give both parties 50% in the business.
Governance will be provided by both partners in proportion to their percentage of interest, the companies said in a statement.
The partnership covers editorial, commercial and technology aspects of the Orange Cinema Series TV package, the companies said.
Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
