He has been working for the incumbent since 2008 when it was demerged from Malaysian telco Axiata.
Similarly, a month ago, Axiata announced it renewed the contract of its CEO Jamaludin Ibrahim for another three years. The company explained that Jamaludin Ibrahim, who was appointed in 2008, has successfully steered the group through difficult economic conditions, with Axiata’s subscriber base reaching 160 million at the end of 2010, up 80% from 2008.
