South African telecoms operator Telkom has appointed Nombulelo (Pinky) Moholi as CEO.
Moholi initially joined Telkom in 1994, but left the company in 2005 to become chief strategy and corporate affairs officer at Nedbank. She rejoined the operator as managing director of Telkom South Africa in May 2009.
The contract of the acting CEO Jeffrey Hedberg expires at the end of March and Moholi will take up her new position on April 1.
