Three candidates have submitted bids for a 3G licence in Cape Verde, according to media reports.
Portugal Telecom’s CV Movel, Teylium group’s T+ and Cabo TLC de Sao Vicente reportedly placed offers.
Last year, Cape Verde’s telecoms regulator ANAC launched a tender to sell three 3G licences and one GSM licence with bids due on January 31.
CV Movel and T+ are currently the two operators offering GSM services in the country.
Portugal Telecom owns 40% of CV Telecom, the parent company of CV Movel.
