The early bird phase of the syndication for the Kc6.593bn (E268m) senior debt for the acquisition of tower company Ceske Radiokomunikace (CRa) closed with two banks joining as MLA, according to a source close to the deal.
Intesa Sanpaolo and CSOB joined the deal, which is arranged by bookrunners BNP Paribas, ING and RB International. SG joined earlier as MLA.
In December, three Macquarie funds agreed to buy 100% of the company from Mid Europa Partners for E574m.
Goldman Sachs advised Mid Europa on the transaction.
CRa holds 26 high-rise towers and over 800 towers and masts, as well as a 2,600 kilometre fibre-optic backbone.
