The American subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile USA, is the sole bidder to acquire spectrum from the US telco Clearwire, according to media reports.
Citing unnamed sources close to the deal, Bloomberg reported on Friday that T-Mobile USA was the only bidder for the spectrum and that the deal was set to be closed in the first quarter of 2011.
Clearwire and T-Mobile USA were unavailable for comment before the press deadline.
