Russian operator VimpelCom has set guidance at mid-swap plus 437.5 bp plus or minus 12.5 bp for its Eurobond issues worth up to US$2bn, according to a Reuters report that quotes banking sources.
Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas, Citi and RBS are reportedly managing the five-year and 10-year Eurobond issues.
The operator is raising funds for its potential US$6bn takeover of Wind Telecom, the vehicle of Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris which owns Italian operator Wind and Orascom Telecom.
