Mobile operator Vodafone has appointed Shameel Aziz Joosub, MD of South African subsidiary Vodacom, as CEO of its Spanish unit effective 1 April.
Joosub replaces Francisco Roman, who becomes chairman of Vodafone Spain.

Mobile operator Vodafone has appointed Shameel Aziz Joosub, MD of South African subsidiary Vodacom, as CEO of its Spanish unit effective 1 April.
Joosub replaces Francisco Roman, who becomes chairman of Vodafone Spain.
Vodacom chairman Peter Moyo said that “while Shameel will be sorely missed, he has been presented with an exciting opportunity as CEO of Vodafone Spain and we wish him much success in his new role”.
Vodacom has yet to find a new MD of the group.
