Telco Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) has finalised its PhP2.8bn (US$64m) fibre-optic network expansion, according to a statement.
The project involved the installation of 1300 kilometres of new terrestrial and submarine fibre optic cables to carry voice, data and video traffic. The company’s services are now available in ten provinces.
