South African operator Telkom announced it would look at selling its Nigerian CDMA operator Multi-Links.
A Telkom spokesperson said that the company had already received expressions of interest for its Nigerian unit.
Multi-Links operating revenue decreased by 1.7% to NgN15.065bn (E73.2m) from NgN15.325bn (E74.5m) in 2009.
Earlier this year, Telkom denied plans to sell Multi-Links after a GSM operator and an infrastructure fund were said to have approached the South African company to enter negotiations.
Telkom wrote down the value of its unit by R5.2bn (E571m) in the financial year ended in March.
