According to Vietnam Business News, SK Telecom, which holds 20% of the JV, had earlier said it would stop investing in the company due to low profits and subscription rates.
Launched in 2003 and due to expire in 2016, the JV had initial investment capital of US$230m including US$218m from SK Telecom, the newspaper explained.
