Danish incumbent TDC has confirmed that the strategic review of its business is still ongoing, in response to media speculation that a decision had been taken by controlling shareholder NTC.
The company announced on October 12 that a bank consortium had been appointed to conduct a review that may or may not lead to a sale of all or part of the business.
TelecomFinance understands that SEB Enskilda, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley are global coordinators, and it is possible that another two banks could be named as underwriters.
“TDC is not in a position to comment on recent rumours in the media about the timing of such a transaction,” a statement by the company said.
“Further communication will be made if and when a decision to proceed with a sale has been taken.”
