John Stack, head of aerospace and defense investment banking (U.S.) at financial services firm Canaccord Genuity (TSE:CF), has joined the Connectivity Business Summit 2022 speaker faculty for a panel discussion on capital investment in the space sector. Canaccord Genuity has done notable work in the space sector, including serving as capital markets advisor to Vector Acquisition Corporation, the special purpose acquisition company that merged with Rocket Lab (NASDAQ:RKLB).
The financial services firm was joint bookrunner for the public offering of American Depositary Shares of optical equipment manufacturer Mynaric (NASDAQ:MYNA, FRA:M0Y) that closed Nov. 21, 2021, delivering gross proceeds of $75.9 million.
Canaccord Genuity’s fiscal year ends March 31. For the nine months ending Dec. 31, 2021, the company reported revenue of $1.2 billion, up 19.1% from the previous year.
