The CEO of Russian state-owned telecoms holding Svyazinvest has resigned following divisions with the management of its unit Rostelecom, Reuters reports quoting business daily Kommersant.
Evgeniy Yurchenko held his position as CEO since early 2009.
Yurchenko reportedly said in the resignation letter that he was stepping down because of a disagreement with Rostelecom managers on the development strategy of the united company.
Svyazinvest is undergoing a re-organisation which will see the telecoms holding company’s regional subsidiaries merged into long-distance telecom operator Rostelecom.
