Leading Peruvian fixed-line operator Telefónica del Peru has submitted bids in a tender to provide telecoms services in rural municipalities across the country, according to state media agency Andina.
ProInversion, Peru’s state agency for promoting private investment, plans to award the concession for this project on August 31. Andina did not report which other companies are participating in the tender process.
