A mystery buyer has been found for Slovenia’s Tusmobil and a sale for almost E150m could be officially announced at the beginning of next month, reported Cellular News citing local paper Delo.
The buyer is reported to be one of Europe’s biggest telecoms operators, pointing the finger at giants Deutsche Telekom, Orange or Tele2.
Tusmobil, which forms part of international business group Tus Holding, launched GSM operations in October 2007, and later received a 3G licence for free.
Other UMTS operators in Slovenia are Mobitel, Simobil and T-2.
Tusmobil was unable to comment before going to press.
