Polish mobile operator Polkomtel has started the due diligence of Telefonia Dialog, the fixed-line operator of state-owned copper miner KGHM, according to DMEurope quoting KGHM chairman Herbert Wirth in local.
Earlier this year altnet operator Netia also said it was interested in Telefonia Dialog.
Last year, KGHM valued Telefonia Dialog at US$264m in its accounts.
Telefonia Dialog launched an MVNO in February under the name of Diallo, using Polkomtel’s network.
Neither KGHM nor PolkomTel was immediately available for comments.
