Telekom Austria buys Belarus fixed-line operators Atlant Telecom and TeleSet in convergence move

América Móvil’s Telekom Austria has agreed to acquire 100% of the shares in the Belarusian operators AtlantTelecom and its subsidiary TeleSet to merge them with its local mobile unit. The assets will be bought from private equity firm ZUBR Capital and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for an undisclosed amount.
