French billionaire Xavier Niel’s Iliad has been in contact with Italian energy firm Enel about using its planned nationwide fibre optic network, according to Enel CEO Francesco Starace. Iliad is set to become Italy’s fourth mobile network operator and there has been speculation that it may also seek to offer fixed-line services, as it does in France.   […]
