Three candidates have been shortlisted for the sale of a third mobile licence in Mozambique.
The technical and financial bids of Portugal Telecom?s mobile unit TMN, UNI-Telecom, a JV of Angola?s Unitel and Mozambique?s Energy Capital, and Vietnamese company Movitel will be evaluated over the next two months.
Twenty-two companies had expressed interest in the 15-year licence, which has a minimum price of US$25m.
