Peter Nelson has resigned from his position as CFO of South African operator Telkom, which will come into effect on October 9.
The announcement comes a week after group CEO Reuben September stepped down as group CEO from July 7, whereas he was expected to leave the company in November. He will assume a consulting role until November 1 though.
Jeffrey Hedberg, CEO of Telkom’s unit Multi-Links, has been appointed as acting group CEO until a successor to September is appointed.
