US operator Sprint Nextel CEO Dan Hesse has told the Financial Times that it is considering employing 4G LTE technology that enables fast web browsing on mobile phones.
The FT said T-Mobile USA is also likely to adopt LTE, which could pave the way for a merger with Sprint. This could reportedly put it on track for an eventual tie-up with T-Mobile USA.
