Russian mobile operator MTS has signed a E300m credit facility backed by Finland’s export credit agency Finnvera.
BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole and Societe Generale joined the eight-year facility, which carries a six-month Euribor+1.65% interest rate.
The facility will be used to buy equipment from Nokia Siemens Networks for the operator’s mobile networks in Russia and Ukraine.
MTS is one of the three largest mobile operators in Russia, competing with VimpelCom and MegaFon.
