Jefferies has moved to further bolster its TMT coverage bringing in David Mastrangelo as its new managing director in the global equity capital markets group, responsible for coverage of the technology, media and telecommunications sectors.
Mastrangelo joins Jefferies from Citigroup and its predecessor, Salomon Brothers. He was most recently managing director and head of technology and media equity capital markets, and gaming and leisure equity capital markets.
In the last five months, Jefferies has significantly expanded its global TMT investment banking business bringing in Dominic Lester as a managing director and European head of technology and telecommunications, Michael Herbst as a managing director and European head of telecommunications, Matthew Schultz as a managing director focused on US internet investment banking, Douglas Wendell as a managing director focused on US software investment banking and Michael Tedesco as a managing director and global head of technology M&A.
