Australian GPS tracking and solution company Ezy2C has snapped up OmniTRACK, the online asset tracking subsidiary of GPS enhancement data via satellite specialist OmniSTAR. Financial details were not disclosed.
Ezy2c CEO, Evan Penn states “The acquisition is highly strategic as it will introduce more products and expertise to our business. OmniSTAR have been leading the way in satellite tracking in Australia for many years with specialised solutions for Marine, Aero, Mining and Transport. With an enviable blue chip client base including many global, ‘household name’ companies and a strong footprint in the mining sector, OmniTRACK gives us the capacity to service this robust sector of the economy.”
Ezy2c, which itself is a division of Fleet Logistics Pty, predominantly offer its GPS monitoring technology in Australia and Africa. The company’s customer base comes from the transport, mining, governmental and utilities sectors.
Both OmniTRACK and OmniSTAR are owned by global natural resource surveyor Fugro.
