Space communication systems provider EMS Technologies has appointed John Jarrell as vice president and general manager of Aviation, the company’s business unit.
He replaces Nim Evatt, who is retiring from the company.
Jarrell previously worked for Sensis, a US aviation automation company, where he was vice president and general manager for the Air Traffic Systems division. Before that, he had spent about ten years at SITA, a provider of air transport-focused applications, communications and IT infrastructure.
