Military focussed satellite communications solutions provider XTAR has appointed Andrew Ruszkowski as VP of global sales and marketing, replacing William Schmidt who passed away in April.
Ruszkowski, previously VP of North American sales at SES World Skies, will be responsible for sales and business development for government and military customers.
XTAR provides satellite capacity in the X-band spectrum, which is reserved for military and government use. It operates two satellites spanning coverage from Denver in the US to Singapore. This allows the group to serve missions in Southwest Asia and the Middle East.
