Euroconsult’s international push continues unabated with the Paris-based satellite sector analysis and consultancy firm forming a strategic partnership with JITEX Consulting Group in order to bolster its Asian offering.
Euroconsult stated that the partnership will allow the two companies to tap into their individual areas of expertise to bring a range of consulting and research services to their customers in the Asia-Pacific region.
JITEX is an international consultancy specialising in the transportation, ICT, energy, environment and innovation sectors.
The company was formed in Japan in 1989 and has offices in Tokyo, Seoul, Paris (its headquarters), Düsseldorf and Montreal.
Pacôme Revillon, CEO of Euroconsult, said: “Japan is a leading space power and major market, and there are a number of ambitious satellite projects and programmes in Korea. Euroconsult has worked with government and private companies in both countries over the last 20 years. But partnering with JITEX will enable us to take advantage of their local presence and complementary areas of expertise to grow our business.” “Since our inception in Japan more than 20 years ago, we have been advising stakeholders in the satellite sector on a regular basis, particularly clients in communications applications,” said Yves-Michel Peyrache, president of JITEX.

Euroconsult established its first international office in July 2008 when it formed Euroconsult North America based in Montreal. The company then expanded its footprint and created a US-based subsidiary following the merger with Washington-based satellite communications consultancy Irwin Communications.
In June 2010 Euroconsult USA Inc announced a strategic partnership with The Jones Consulting Group in order to furtherdevelop its Earth observation and remote sensing business.
