The share allotment amounted to 8.3% of the company’s share capital. The price was NIS 56.10 (US$15.2) per share, a 4% discount on the stock price at the time of the placement.
The investors, a mix of private and strategic, were IBI Investment House Ltd, Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services Ltd, Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings Ltd, Menorah Mivtachim Holdings Ltd, Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd, Hadas Arazim Investment House Ltd.’s Hadas Mercantile Provident Funds, Ion Israel Fund Ltd, and Sphera Master Fund LP. Poalim IBI Underwriting and Investments Ltd was the lead underwriter.
Spacecom has not announced the purpose of the share placement, but it is possible that a portion of the newly raised funds will go towards its acquisition of the Amos 5i satellite.
