Hong Kong-based telecoms holding company PCCW Limited has this month appointed Lee Mun Yee (Grace) as group general counsel, the company said in a stock exchange filing. She will hold the same role at HKT, which holds PCCW’s telecoms, media and IT assets, that group announced in a separate filing.
An English and Hong Kong qualified solicitor, Grace Lee is experienced in corporate finance, M&A, private equity, corporate restructurings and reorganisations, securities and regulatory matters and general corporate commercial matters.
She was previously head of legal and compliance for an international bank licensed in Hong Kong.
She also becomes company secretary and authorised representative. She replaces Lee Miu Ling (Landy), who having held these roles on an interim basis, stepped down with effect from 8 June 2015.
Ms Landy Lee continues to work within the group’s corporate secretariat team, the company said.
HKT Trust and HKT Limited announced that Me Lee Mun Yee would become group general counsel of the trustee-manager and the company, as well as company secretary and authorised representative of the trustee-manager and the company.
Hong Kong listed PCCW has a market cap of HKD33.35bn (US$4.3bn).
