Israeli mobile operator Partner Communications has named Isaac Benbenisti as its new CEO, to take over from Haim Romano, who will step down of 1 July.
Romano, whose decision it was to resign, appointed Benbenisti, who has been Deputy CEO since November 2014.
Previous roles include seven years as CEO of Bezeq International, a senior position at Hewlett -Packard, and CEO of another tech firm, CMS Compucenter.
Partner chairman Adam Chesnoff thanked Romano, describing him as “a professional of the highest stature”, under whose leadership the company became Israel’s first to launch 4G and also the first to sign a network sharing agreement [with HOT Mobile, as reported].
Welcoming Benbenisti’s new appointment, Chesnoff said Romano had agreed to continue working with and advising Partner for an indefinite period.
