VimpelCom’s Armenian unit ArmenTel has named Dina Nurpeisova as its new CFO.
Nurpeisova replaces Karen Karapetyan, who is moving to another company, ArmenTel, which operates under the Beeline brand, said in a statement.
Nurpeisova has served as the finance director at VimpelCom’s Kazakhstan unit for three years, ArmenTel said. A trained engineer and economist, she has more than 15 years’ experience in senior financial roles.
Commenting on her new position, Nurpeisova said she is looking forward to leading the financial division of the largest telecoms operator in Armenia.
“For me, it is very interesting to work for a company that provides a full range of telecommunications services. Together with the professional and strong team at Beeline, we will continue to strengthen our position.”
ArmenTel competes in the mobile space with Vivacell-MTS, part of Russia’s MTS group, and the local unit of France’s Orange.
