Polish cableco Inea has announced the appointment of Michal Bartkowiak as its new CFO.
Bartkowiak joins Inea from Groclin, a local manufacturer of automotive seating and electrical power management systems, having served as its CFO for about 16 months.
Previously, he was CFO of paper manufacturer and seller Arctic Paper and chairman of the company’s supervisory board.
He has also served as finance director for Eurocash, a wholesale distributor of FMCG products.
Inea is Poland’s fourth-largest cableco according to the Polish Chamber of Electronic Communication. It claims that its fibre optic network serves more than 400,000 households in the Wielkopolska region. New York-based private equity firm Warburg Pincus acquired a strategic minority stake in the cableco in April 2013, committing to providing additional funding for growth and consolidation.
