State-owned China Telecom has promoted Yung Shun Loy, the company’s assistant chief financial officer to the role of deputy chief financial officer, effective from today.
Loy, who has served as the telco’s qualified accountant and company secretary as part of his assistant CFO role, has significant experience in auditing and senior financial management at listed companies, the operator said in a statement.
He is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a fellow member of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Certified Practising Accountant in Australia.
Last week, Wu Andi retired as an executive director, EVP and CFO of China Telecom.
