The CEO of Wataniya Palestine Mobile, Fayez Husseini, has resigned after two years in the role.
The reasons for his departure have not been disclosed but the company said he was replaced by board director Durgham Maraee.
Upon his appointment as CEO, Maraee resigned from the board membership. He most recently served as CFO of the Palestine Investment Fund, an institutional investor with more than US$800m of assets under management, according to Wataniya.
He was also previously a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group.
Wataniya Palestine is owned by Qatar’s Ooredoo.
