Shareholders in Slovenia’s fourth largest wireless operator Debitel have decided to launch a sales process for the company.
At a recent meeting, shareholders mandated management to disclose confidential data to prospective buyers, according to minutes published on the AJPES business register.
The sale will be conducted in several stages, beginning with a call for non-binding bids. Those chosen to progress to the next stage will then be given access to data which will enable them to form binding bids. The sellers will then select the most favourable offer ahead of entering into a sale agreement.
Based in Ljublanja, Debitel provides mobile, fixed-line and internet services. ACH Holding and Adria Mobil have a combined 96% stake in the company.
According to regulator AKOS, Debitel is the fourth largest wireless operator in Slovenia after incumbent Telekom Slovenije, Telekom Austria’s Si.mobil and Tusmobil.
