Vincent Bruyneel, currently Telenet’s senior VP of strategy, IR and corporate communications, is leaving the Belgian cableco to join parent company Liberty Global.
Bruyneel has been with Telenet for 10 years and will start in his new role as VP strategy and corporate development at Liberty on 1 May 2014.
He will be “responsible for developing and steering the group’s corporate strategy with a specific focus on the Netherlands, Belgium and Central and Eastern Europe”, according to a Telenet statement.
Telenet CFO Birgit Conix will be responsible for investor relations while Ann Caluwaerts, senior VP of corporate affairs and media, will manage the corporate communication division. The new head of the strategy division will be announced at a later date, the Belgian company said.
